This explains what Seen & Amplified™ collects, why, and who else touches it. Your brand voice is the most personal thing you will put into this platform, so the short version is first.
The short version.
- Stripe processes your payment details. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Your content is sent to AI providers so drafts can be generated. FeiModern does not use it to train models, and it is never pooled with other members' accounts.
- Your edits, accepted drafts and discarded drafts help personalise your own future output.
- We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels in the platform. We record operational information to run and improve the service.
- You can export supported content and request access to or deletion of other personal information. Deletion and retention details are below.
01Who we are
Seen & Amplified™ is operated by FeiModern Inc., based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Our Privacy Officer can be reached at hello@feimodern.com; please mark privacy requests “Privacy”.
We are responsible for account, billing and service-administration information. When you upload personal information about clients or contacts, we process it to provide the features you use, while you remain responsible for having the authority to collect and share it. Our role under applicable privacy law depends on the information and the purpose of processing.
Our Canadian privacy obligations include PIPEDA. The rights described below are available wherever you live; additional mandatory rights under applicable local law remain available to you.
The platform is intended for account holders aged 18 or over. Please do not submit children's personal information. Contact us if you believe it has been submitted so we can investigate and address its removal.
02What we collect and why
| Information | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Account and subscription details Name, email, sign-in information, plan, payment status, billing identifiers and renewal dates | Account access, payments, support and service communications. Firebase Authentication handles passwords; Stripe processes payment details. |
| Your workspace Brand and voice profiles, workbook answers, offers, stories, frameworks, chats, prompts, images, documents and other uploads | Store your work and supply context for the tools you use. |
| Generated material and feedback Drafts, images, transcripts, campaigns, reports, edits, accepted or discarded examples and inferred voice preferences | Generate and organise your work, and personalise later output within your workspace. |
| Contacts and business activity Names, contact details, relationship notes, leads, deals and activity you enter or import | Provide contact organisation, follow-up drafts and business reports. |
| Audio you record | Send audio to Google Gemini for transcription and, when selected, tidy the transcript. The dictation endpoint processes the recording without saving it to our file library; the resulting text may be saved in your workspace or browser. |
| Connected accounts and publishing Account identifiers, profile information, permissions, connection credentials where required, selected content, media links, schedules and delivery results | Read authorised material and publish or schedule content through the connections you choose. |
| Support and collaboration Invitations, permissions, workspace access records, support messages, feedback, design requests and attachments | Provide support, fulfil requested services and manage authorised access. |
| Technical and usage information Sign-in times, browser/security signals, errors, feature and AI-model usage, token counts and processing costs | Security, troubleshooting, service administration and usage/cost reporting. |
Please only upload information you have the right to share and that is needed for the task. Avoid health records, financial account numbers, government identifiers and other highly sensitive personal information. Content you upload may be sent to the providers described below.
03Your choices and the basis for processing
We use information to provide the service you request, administer subscriptions, keep the platform secure and meet legal obligations. Using an AI feature requires sending relevant material to its AI provider. You can choose not to use that feature, but it cannot generate output without that processing.
Where EU or UK law applies, account and subscription processing relies on performance of a contract where necessary; security and service administration may rely on legitimate interests; required tax records rely on legal obligations; and processing that requires consent relies on that consent. When a business supplies another person's information, the appropriate basis depends on that business's relationship with the person and the purpose involved.
You may withdraw consent or object to processing by contacting us. We will explain any effect on the features we can provide. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal or records we must retain by law.
04How AI and personalisation work
Relevant workspace material is sent to Anthropic or Google to generate text, analyse content or transcribe audio, and to Google, Meta or OpenAI to create images. This may include profile details, earlier conversation context, uploaded material, business activity, and saved examples or preferences needed for the feature.
Voice Calibration stores edits, accepted drafts and discarded drafts as examples. It can also use an AI provider to infer writing preferences from those examples. This processing may run in the background after you edit or discard content. Saved examples and preferences are used for your workspace, not to generate another member's drafts.
Deleting a draft does not necessarily remove its separately stored calibration example or inferred preferences. Contact us if you want those removed too. FeiModern does not train its own AI models using your content. Provider retention and processing are described in section 12.
05Providers and connected services
The following services process information for the functions described. A service used for an optional feature receives information when that feature runs. Providers may also process limited information for their own security, legal or payment obligations under their terms.
| Service | Purpose and information processed |
|---|---|
| Google Firebase / Google Cloud | Authentication, hosting, database, files, server processing and logs; account and workspace data, uploaded files and technical information. |
| Stripe | Checkout, payments and subscriptions; payment details, billing and account identifiers, name and email. |
| Anthropic | AI writing, analysis and voice personalisation; relevant prompts, context and examples. |
| Google Gemini | AI writing and analysis, audio transcription and image generation; relevant text, recordings, images and other task inputs. |
| Meta | AI image generation; the image prompt and any reference images you choose. |
| OpenAI | AI image generation; the image prompt and any reference images you choose. |
| Resend | Service emails, notifications and inbound replies; sender/recipient details, message content and any included links or attachments. |
| MailerLite | Email-list administration and communications; name, email, list/group membership and subscription status. |
| Post for Me | Connecting supported social accounts and delivering posts; connection authorisations, account/profile identifiers, selected captions and media links, schedules and delivery status. |
| Firecrawl | Reading public web pages for import or analysis; the requested public URLs and extracted page content. |
| Apify | Reading supported public social profiles/posts for analysis; requested profile URLs and extracted public content. |
| Google reCAPTCHA / App Check | Automated-abuse protection; browser, device and interaction/security signals. |
| AI apps you connect | If you use Connect your AI, the AI app you choose (for example Claude or ChatGPT) receives the workspace information it reads on your behalf. That company is not our provider; its own terms and privacy policy apply. |
| Services you connect or ask us to read | For example, LinkedIn or supported social publishing destinations receive the authorisations, requests and content needed for the connection. Their own privacy policies also apply. |
We add your name and email to our MailerLite marketing list only when you actively choose the separate signup option for tips, offers and product news. We record that choice and its date. Service communications may include onboarding, account notices, support replies and scheduled digests. You can turn the weekly digest off in Settings or through its unsubscribe link, and unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Necessary security, billing and requested-support messages may continue.
Connecting a publishing account authorises the relevant connection provider. Scheduling an automatic post sends it and its selected media to Post for Me for delivery at the time you choose. Disconnecting an account and cancelling an already scheduled post are separate actions; cancel pending posts before disconnecting. Removing something from this platform does not remove copies already published elsewhere.
Connect your AI. You can choose to connect your own AI app to your workspace from Settings. Once connected, that app can read your Brand Profile, Voice Profile, strategy pages (such as your Signature Framework, offers, campaigns, Brand Playbook and Amplified Codex), stories, drafts, media library images, leads and connected social accounts, and can save drafts, add stories and leads, fill in blank profile answers, and prepare posts. It cannot delete anything, and it cannot post or schedule without showing you the exact post and getting your yes first. Information the app reads leaves our platform and is handled by the company that runs that app, under its own terms, which may include its own retention and training settings. Check those settings in that app. We keep a log of what each connected app does, which you can see in Settings. You can disconnect any app at any time in Settings → Connect your AI, and it loses access immediately. A private link works like a password: anyone who has it can use your workspace the same way, so do not share it, and switch it off if it may have been seen by someone else.
Public-page and social-profile imports may involve the original website and the reading providers above. Do not submit private or secret-bearing URLs. For reCAPTCHA, see Google's Privacy Policy and Terms.
06People with access
Your workspace is private by default. Files may have download links that allow anyone holding the link to access the file; share those links only with intended recipients. If you invite a collaborator or connect a strategist, they can see only the areas your access settings allow. Strategist connections start read-only and do not include Ask Fei conversations, billing, support, Design Concierge or your media library. You can change or withdraw access at any time, and the platform records when a connected person opens your workspace.
FeiModern staff retain limited operational access for account administration, support, security and services you ask us to deliver. Because this is not an end-to-end encrypted service, authorised infrastructure administrators may technically access stored information. We do not browse client content out of curiosity or use it for any purpose unrelated to providing, supporting or protecting the service.
07Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies and similar storage for sign-in, security and abuse prevention, interface preferences, workflow recovery and locally saved text such as dictation. These functions can use local storage, session storage, browser databases and cached application files. Security checks may run during use of the app, not only at registration.
We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels in the platform. Operational logs and AI usage records are described above. Connected services may use their own cookies during sign-in, payment or authorisation.
You can clear site data in your browser, which may sign you out and remove locally saved preferences or text. Use particular care on shared devices. Clearing browser data does not delete your server-side account or content.
08Retention, deletion and account closure
- Active workspace: content remains available while the account is open unless you delete it. Cancelling a paid subscription does not automatically delete the account or workspace.
- Draft trash: drafts moved to trash are retained for 30 days. A daily cleanup removes drafts older than that window, so removal may occur after the 30-day point rather than at that exact moment. You can restore or permanently remove drafts through the trash controls.
- Voice examples: calibration records and inferred preferences are separate from drafts and can remain after a draft is deleted. Request removal of these records if you want them included.
- Uploaded files: file deletion is separate from deleting a workspace record. After a storage object is successfully deleted, the current storage recovery period is seven days. Removing an item from view is not confirmation that every stored copy has been erased.
- Database recovery: the main database currently keeps a one-hour version-recovery window. This is separate from draft trash and uploaded-file recovery.
- Technical logs: the current default Cloud Logging retention is 30 days; required cloud audit logs have a 400-day retention period. Separate service records, including support history and AI usage records, are not covered by the 30-day log period.
- Support, fulfilment and usage records: where no fixed period is stated above, we retain these records only while reasonably needed to provide support or a requested service, maintain security, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We review deletion requests against those purposes rather than treating account closure as an automatic erasure of every operational record.
- Billing records: Canadian tax records generally must be retained for six years after the end of the relevant tax year, and longer where legally required. Account closure does not remove records we must retain.
- Provider copies: AI and connected services have their own retention and legal obligations. Deleting a workspace item does not immediately delete copies already processed by those services.
To close your account or request comprehensive deletion, email our privacy contact. There is no single self-service action that erases every category. Account administration can remove your sign-in, main workspace and drafts; uploaded files, support/design records, connection-provider records and email-list entries require separate review or removal. Tell us if you want these included. We will explain the scope, any information that must be retained and any additional steps needed. We do not promise that everything disappears immediately when an account is closed.
Before leaving, export the material you need and cancel pending publishing actions. A privacy request can also cover information retained for support, fulfilment, security or usage reporting; we assess whether there is a continuing need or legal requirement to keep it.
09Access, exports and your privacy rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information wherever you live. Built-in exports include the Codex and playbook, contact CSV exports, selected reports and downloadable media. Other content can be copied or exported where its feature provides that option. There is no single export of every account record; contact us for information not available through those controls.
Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict processing, object, withdraw consent and receive portable data. We may need to verify your identity and protect other people's information before acting. Email hello@feimodern.com; we will respond within 30 days and explain any lawful exception. If we need a lawful extension, we will notify you within that initial period, explain why and tell you about available complaint options.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. AI features assist with content and business planning; they are not used to make solely automated decisions about your eligibility for employment, credit or other legal or similarly significant matters.
You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the appropriate authority where you live.
10Where processing takes place
Our main Firestore database is in Toronto, Canada. Uploaded files are stored in Google's US-East region, and the deployed server functions operate in the US-Central region. Authentication, delivery networks and other providers may process information in additional locations, including the United States.
Your information can therefore cross borders and may be subject to lawful access by authorities in those locations. Processing location and contractual safeguards vary by service. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data and any applicable international-transfer rights.
11Security, stated precisely
Your account is protected by Firebase Authentication. Your data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest on Google Cloud infrastructure. Firestore security rules restrict private workspace content to its owner and people that owner has explicitly authorised. Separate operational records are available only to authorised administrators who need them to run and support the service.
To be precise, this is not end-to-end encryption. The service must be able to process relevant content to send it to an AI provider and return a draft. We protect that access with authentication, permission rules and limited staff access, and we never pool one member's material into another member's work.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant regulator, within the timeframes the law requires.
12AI provider handling
FeiModern uses API services rather than consumer chat accounts for the platform's AI features. We do not train our own models on your content. Image generation may also use Meta's or OpenAI's API services, which process the image prompt and any reference images under their own API terms. Anthropic's commercial API does not use inputs and outputs for general model training by default. Google's Gemini Paid Services terms describe how prompts and responses are processed without use to improve its products; those terms depend on the applicable service and billing configuration.
No general model training does not mean no retention or human review. Anthropic's standard API retention is within 30 days, with exceptions for certain features, safety enforcement, contractual arrangements and legal requirements. Google's Gemini API abuse-monitoring documentation specifies 55 days for prompts, context and outputs, and allows authorised review of flagged content and processing for policy enforcement.
See Anthropic's retention policy, Gemini API terms and Google's abuse-monitoring policy. Different endpoints or contractual arrangements can have different rules. Our AI Disclosure explains how the features use these services.
13Changes
If we change our privacy practices in a way that materially affects you, we will email you before the change takes effect and obtain fresh consent where required. The date at the top identifies the current version. This update explains existing processing and available controls more fully.
14Contact
If you are in Canada and unhappy with how we have handled a privacy question, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
